Olives

Our marinated and prepared olives are the cornerstone of what we do. All of which we prepare ourselves with love in the English Lake District. Great care is taken at every stage of the process, from the selection of the olives , the removal of the brine the olives are cured in to the preparation of the marinades that give them their unique flavours. The black olives we use are naturally ripened Kalamata from Greece. Our gren olives are also from Greece and are Halkidiki variety. Both are selected from a wide co-operative of farmers who bring their harvests to a "curer" who cures the olives with water and sea salt to remove the intensely bitter flavour that a fresh picked olive offers. The quality of our product is something we are passionate about and we are especially proud of our olives.
