Mallorca Majorca Meeejjjorcaaa!

Isle of Mallorca. I love Mallorca, you need to say both out loud to get my foolish pun. Anyway joking aside this island has a bad rep unjustifiably. It has a colossal amount to offer both in terms of breath taking views, eclectic culture and gastronomy. Forget Australian, Mallorquines know how to barbeque!

This image is of one of my favourite restaurants on the planet. Es Verger (or "The Lamb Restaurant") is nestled high above the village of Alaro and is accessible via a single track dirt road. Those in the know pour out of Palma on a Sunday looking for roast shoulder of lamb served the Es Verger way. The Es Verger way can mean served to you by the man of the house whilst smoking one of his hand rolled cigarettes. Yep, its an adventure start to finish!

If you've got any left over cold roast lamb that you are thinking putting in  a salad cna I suggest throwing some of these in as well...
